Beauty inspires. We allow intentional time for students to seek out the beauty they see in their world. When this beauty is further explored, it inspires a greater depth of learning. We celebrate this natural child led exploration by bringing the classroom outdoors and bringing natural beauty inside the classroom to encourage creativity and collaboration.

The Decker School’s educators, whom are licensed teachers, strive to be keen observers so that they may creatively facilitate innovation and look for opportunities to celebrate strengths. Our teachers partner with students to think outside the box and strive for excellence in their areas of strength. This highly collaborative and personal learning environment is the best place to ensure more effective learning can be experienced. We pride ourselves in challenging students to be independent, creative, and compassionate leaders.

Strengths based education is a lifelong journey which is why our goal is to create a generation of lifelong learners.
